The 2008 edition of the MedFilm Festival will be held, as always, in November in Rome, to celebrate in Italy the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue.

 

Submission to MedFilm Festival is free of charge.

In order to participate in the MedFilm Festival 2008 the Entry Form must be submitted no later than 30 July 2008 both via email and via land mail, and each section must be properly filled in and accompanied by a DVD copy of the film.

A Year of Italian Cinema in Tunis is an initiative organized by MedFilm Festival Onlus and the Italian Institute of Culture in Tunis for the promotion of Italian Cinema in Tunisia. The project started on 3rd March with the special premier of the film L'Abbuffata, (The Feast), presented by actors Donatella Finocchiaro e Paolo Briguglia and with a retrospective of 6 debut films. A year of Italian Cinema in Tunis will go on throughout the month of December with a further 6 rendezvous for a grand total of 13 films.
