Two old friends, Halim and Nevzat, meet in Istanbul. Nevzat plans to marry the woman he loves, and wants to introduce Halim to this woman. This woman's name is Selma Rag?p. Part of her family have committed suicide and she could not forget such events although many years passed. Selma meets Halim and both enjoy this meeting. At the beginning, Nevzat is relaxed that she fancied his friend, but in the following days he became very jealous. These close friends will separate from each other. Nevzat is not aware of this relationship but he is suspicious, and he starts to suppose that Selma could be involved with the suicides.
