The consecutive suicide incidents of young women in the South-eastern of Batman aroused awareness and it was only later that these suicides were uncovered honour killings. Havar is a young woman who is rumoured to have gotten intimate with a young man. When these rumors reach her cousin ?ehmuz who has been promised to marry her, he pressures Havar's father, provoking him to kill her. Havar is now the victim and her father, her executioner. This debut feature film was shot with amateurs actors from the region. The word havar also is used scream, cry for help, rebellion in the Batman region.
