A testimony of a cultural and societal turmoil, taking place at the beginning of the 3rd millennium. Nowadays Morocco is moving, and so are the young Moroccans. One cannot ignore the expression of a new culture initiated by the Moroccan youth. It started in the 90's as an underground movement and acquired a visibility and an influence after 2003. It has now taken the name of "Nayda" ("It's moving") and is lead by young people who have decided to "go ahead and do it" without expecting anything from anyone. The emergence of this new music scene is also linked to the existence of the new media and a real cultural movement which affects parts of the Moroccan society. Through music, the new press, a new value given to their language, Moroccan Arabic (Darija), the use of the new technologies and a fantastic wave of creativity, we discover the effervescence of this youth in action, but also the difficulties they meet on the way.
