Opening Film Alfredo is an architect, Susanna is a psychologist. They are middle-class people, youthful-looking 50-year-old neoliberals, brilliant and smart. They live in Rome but spent weekends and part of the summer in their home country within a private estate. One day Susanna, going to town, meets a young prostitute who is humiliated and beaten by a man on the street that leads to the state highway. She decides to save that girl. That gesture will change her life and the balance of his family.
