MY LOVE AWAITS ME BY THE SEA
HABIBI BISTANAN AND AL BAHAR

Mais Darwazah l JORDAN / GERMANY / PALESTINE / QATAR, 2013 l 80′ l DCP l color

A poetic documentary narrating the story of the director Mais Darwazah, who for the first time travels back to her homeland, Palestine. She leaves a secluded reality and follows a lover whom she has never met; Hasan Hourani, a Palestinian artist, who shows her a beautiful and utopian world. Fairytale and reality intertwine and lead us to question the elusiveness of a suffering place and the need to believe in dreams.
