November 9–10 – Casa del Cinema
10th Edition – New stories, new encounters, new co-production opportunities.

MedMeetings, the industry platform of the MedFilm Festival, connects producers, sales agents, distributors and industry professionals, fostering new partnerships and international co-production opportunities.

On November 9 and 10, 2026, we will be delighted to welcome you to the Casa del Cinema in Rome for two days dedicated to creative exchange and international collaboration, through a selection of projects that celebrates the variety of stories, perspectives and talents of contemporary cinema: a concrete opportunity to discover new projects and start new collaborations.

14 projects have been selected from Euro-Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries and, new for this 10th edition, from Sub-Saharan Africa.

MedMeetings includes two sections: MedWIPs – Works in Progress and MedPitching – Projects in Development.

MEDWIPS – WORKS IN PROGRESS

Seven selected projects, in an advanced stage of production or in post-production, seeking partners, visibility and new opportunities for access to the international market:

  • BEIRUT IN BETWEEN by Anna Fahr (Lebanon)
  • EVIL THY EYE by Ensar Altay (Türkiye)
  • FIBONACCI by Mourad Ben Cheikh (Tunisia)
  • INCOGNITO by Zgjim Terziqi (Kosovo)
  • LOW TIDE by El Hachimi El Belghiti Salma (Morocco)
  • THE BOY WHO SPOKE STATIC by The Agbajowo Collective (Nigeria)
  • THIS LAND BETWEEN US by Arnau Vilaro (Spain)

The jury, composed of Carlo Cresto-Dina, Marta Donzelli and Fabio Tucci, will award the following prizes:
OIM Prize for Best Project, worth €10,000
Stadion Video Prize, the creation of a DCP with English subtitles for the second Best Project, worth €3,500

MEDPITCHING – PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT

Seven selected projects, seeking co-producers and the right contacts to develop their potential and reach an international audience:

  • A MORE BEAUTIFUL LIFE by Filippo Maria Gori (Italy)
  • AN ORDINARY WOMAN by Michele Tyan (Lebanon)
  • BALLAD OF THE SKELETON by Murat Uğurlu (Türkiye)
  • FIGHTERS by Alassane Sy (Senegal)
  • PULLING MY OWN STRINGS by Alessandra Cataleta (Italy)
  • SURVIVORS by Taban Jalali (Iran)
  • THE WHITE WEEK by Bojan Vuletic (Serbia)

The best project will receive the MedPitching Award, worth €1,000, with an additional €1,000 contribution to the Italian co-producer if a co-production agreement is formalized.

  • 3:00 PM Institutional greetings and opening of MedMeetings
  • 3:30 PM Presentation of the seven MedPitching projects

NOVEMBER 10

  • 10:00 AM Presentation of the seven MedWIPs projects
  • 12:30 PM Official lunch in collaboration with Cinecittà
  • 2:30 PM One-to-one meetings for the MedPitching projects
  • 6:15 PM Closing ceremony and awards
