GIURIA CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE CORTOMETRAGGI
INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION JURY
La giuria del Concorso Internazionale Cortometraggi è composta da studenti diplomandi delle Scuole Nazionali di Cinema dei Paesi europei e mediterranei, e da detenuti delle Case Circondariali di Matera, Palermo “Ucciardone”, III Casa Circondariale Roma Rebibbia, Trieste, Padova e Roma Rebibbia.
In una riunione plenaria all’interno del carcere, le due ali della giuria confrontano le loro scelte e designano insieme il vincitore del Premio Methexis. Gli studenti e i detenuti hanno così modo di vivere un’esperienza estremamente coinvolgente di lavoro, di scambio e di confronto interculturale.
Il coordinatore di giuria è l’autore e regista Gianfranco Pannone.
The International Short Films Competition mixed Jury is made of students of National Schools of Cinema based in European and Mediterranean countries and it is composed by a group of detainees selected among one of the Penitentiary Institutions adhering to the Project.
In a plenary session inside the prison, two wings of the jury compare their decisions and then decide together who should be the winner of the Methexis Award. Therefore students and prisoners have the opportunity to share an exciting work experience leading to inter-cultural dialogue and exchange.
The Jury Coordinator is the documentary director Gianfranco Pannone.
