AMORE E PSYCHE AWARD
The Amore e Psyche Award is the main prize granted by the Official Competition Jury of the MedFilm Festival to the best film in competition.
SPECIAL JURY AWARD
A special recognition granted by the Official Competition Jury to a work of particular merit.
ARTISTIC EXPRESSION AWARD
Award dedicated to the work that stood out for the finest cinematic language, artistic expression, and formal research.
INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION
METHEXIS AWARD
The Methexis Award is granted by the International Jury to the best Mediterranean and Middle Eastern short film in competition.
CERVANTES ROMA AWARD
This award reflects the collaboration between the Instituto Cervantes Rome and the MedFilm Festival, and is dedicated to the most innovative work in the Short Film Competition – Methexis Award.

VALENTINA PEDICINI AWARD
Best First or Second Feature
Award dedicated to all first and second feature works presented in the various sections of the festival.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Recognition dedicated to a leading figure of Italian and international cinema.
KOINÈ AWARD
The Koinè Award is granted to a leading figure from the worlds of culture, politics, or business who has distinguished themselves by fostering exchange, mutual understanding, and respect among peoples, while promoting the search for common ground and shared languages among Euro-Mediterranean cultures and societies.
WWF AWARD
WWF Italy grants the WWF Award (€1,000) to the best film (feature or short film) focused on environmental issues.
AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL ITALIA HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD
Amnesty International Italia grants an award to the best work dedicated to human rights.
BEST EURO-MEDITERRANEAN CO-PRODUCTION – FIRST AND SECOND FEATURES AWARD
In collaboration with the Representation in Italy of the European Commission (€2,000).
The award aims to promote co-productions based on collaboration and dialogue between European and Mediterranean cultures.
Special Mention latest edition (’25): WITH HASAN IN GAZA by KAMAL ALJAFARI (Germany/Palestine/France/Qatar, 2025, 106’)
EUCOMENIC AWARD
In collaboration with the Institut Français – Centre Saint-Louis (€1,500).
On the occasion of the Jubilee, the award is granted to the Best Film expressing universal values such as suffering, hope, justice, and the search for meaning.
