29th MedFilm Festival (9-19 November)

MEDFILM WORKS IN PROGRESS – 4th EDITION

In the framework of the 7th edition of MedMeetings (10-11 November)

Following the success of the previous editions which saw the submission of 130 films to the new MedMeetings section dedicated to works-in-progress, the MedFilm Festival is happy to launch the call for the 4rd edition of MedFilm WIPs, a space for the Mediterranean countries.

The WIPS workshop is addressed to feature films and creative documentaries in the phase of post-production coming from Italy and countries of the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

A Jury of international experts will offer their feedback during two days of intense workshop. At the end of the workshop, the Jury will assign the MedFilm/OIM Prize (10.000 euros) and the Stadion Video Prize for the creation of a DCP (3.500 euro).

Professionals from the two shores of the Mediterranean will be invited to meet the selected directors/producers.

Deadline for submission: August 30th 2023.
