MedMeetings 2026
November 9–10 – Casa del Cinema
MedMeetings, the industry platform of the MedFilm Festival, connects producers, sales agents, distributors and industry professionals, fostering new partnerships and international co-production opportunities.
On November 9 and 10, 2026, we will be delighted to welcome you to the Casa del Cinema in Rome for two days dedicated to creative exchange and international collaboration, through a selection of projects that celebrates the variety of stories, perspectives and talents of contemporary cinema: a concrete opportunity to discover new projects and start new collaborations.
14 projects have been selected from Euro-Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries and, new for this 10th edition, from Sub-Saharan Africa.

The 32nd edition of the MedFilm Festival returns to cinemas from 5 to 15 November 2026, reaffirming the importance and excitement of the shared cinematic experience.

MEDFILM FESTIVAL IN MOROCCO – 4th Edition
October 1–3, Rabat
MedFilm Festival continues its journey across the shores of the Mediterranean with the fifth edition of MedFilm au Maroc. Ahead of the festival’s 32nd edition, which will take place in Rome from 5 to 15 November 2026, the international showcase of Mediterranean cinema returns to Rabat from 1 to 3 October. The programme brings films, guests, presentations and masterclasses to the Moroccan capital and involves local production companies and artistic organisations.
The event is organised by the Embassy of Italy in Morocco and the Italian Cultural Institute in Rabat, in collaboration with the Methexis Association, Fondation Hiba, Cinémathèque Marocaine, Cinéma le 7ème Art and the Institut Supérieur des Métiers de l’Audiovisuel et du Cinéma de Rabat (ISMAC). It is held under the aegis of the Mission Unit for Cultural Cooperation with Africa and the Enlarged Mediterranean. Through film and audiovisual media, the event promotes cultural and professional dialogue between Italy and Morocco and further strengthens the ties between the two countries. Building on its long-standing partnership with Fondation Hiba and a renewed collaboration with ISMAC, the fifth edition of MedFilm au Maroc offers a programme of premieres and special educational projects.
MEDMEETINGS 10TH EDITION – 32nd MEDFILM FESTIVAL (5–15 NOVEMBER 2026)
We are pleased to announce the 10th edition of MedMeetings, which will take place in Rome on November 9th and 10th, 2026, within the framework of the 32nd edition of MedFilm Festival (November 5th–15th, 2026).
MedMeetings marks an important milestone in its commitment to fostering dialogue, cooperation and professional exchange across the Euro-Mediterranean audiovisual landscape. Over the past decade, the platform has brought together hundreds of filmmakers, producers, distributors and industry professionals, creating opportunities for co-production, project development and international circulation while strengthening cultural and creative ties between Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

We are very pleased to announce the 32th edition of the MedFilm Festival in Rome, which will take place from the 5th to the 15th of November live and online with a rich programme of films, professional meetings, premieres and special events.
The 2026 edition promises to be a unique and international experience exploring the many dimensions of the Mare Nostrum.

MEDFILM FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK SUCCESSFULLY CLOSES ITS FIRST EDITION
The first edition of MedFilm Festival in New York has successfully come to a close. The international spin-off of Rome’s MedFilm Festival brought to the Italian Cultural Institute of New York, from 16 to 18 April, a selection of works dedicated to the cinematographies and cultures of the Mediterranean.
