MEDMEETINGS 8th edition
30° MedFilm Festival (November 7th – November 17th 2024)
We are pleased to announce that the 8th edition of MedMeetings will take place in Rome on Nov. 7th and 8th 2024, in the framework of the celebrations for the 30th edition of MedFilm Festival (November 7-17, 2024).
MedMeetings is an innovative platform aimed at creating synergies and cooperation between directors, producers, distributors and industry professionals from Euro-Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries.
The MedMeetings platform presents two professional initiatives: MedPitching and MedWIPs
– MedPitching, is a hub designed to promote and support co-production. Its goal is to connect international projects with Italian producers, in order to involve Italy as a potential co-production country. The 10 projects selected for MedPitching will also compete for the MedPitching Award, a €1,000 prize to the most promising project, to which a further €1,000 will be added if the project becomes an Italian co-production.

– Med WIPs – MedFilm Works in progress. Open to fiction feature films and creative documentaries in post-production from Italy and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern countries. The 6 projects selected for MedWIPs compete for the OIM Prize of € 10,000 given to the film itself (for post-production, for promotion, etc…) and the Stadion Video Prize for the DCP-making (for a value of € 3,500).
