MEDMEETINGS 10TH EDITION
32nd MEDFILM FESTIVAL (5–15 NOVEMBER 2026)
We are pleased to announce the 10th edition of MedMeetings, which will take place in Rome on November 9th and 10th, 2026, within the framework of the 32nd edition of MedFilm Festival (November 5th–15th, 2026).
MedMeetings marks an important milestone in its commitment to fostering dialogue, cooperation and professional exchange across the Euro-Mediterranean audiovisual landscape. Over the past decade, the platform has brought together hundreds of filmmakers, producers, distributors and industry professionals, creating opportunities for co-production, project development and international circulation while strengthening cultural and creative ties between Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
Today, MedMeetings has established itself as a leading industry platform dedicated to supporting emerging talents and independent productions, encouraging collaboration across borders and contributing to the growth of a more connected and inclusive audiovisual ecosystem.
The MedMeetings platform presents two professional initiatives: MedPitching and MedWIPs:
– MedPitching is a hub designed to promote and support co-production. Its goal is to connect international projects with Italian producers in order to involve Italy as a potential co-production country and to encourage new partnerships across the Euro-Mediterranean region.
The 10 projects selected for MedPitching will be presented to a panel of producers, industry experts and decision-makers through dedicated pitching sessions and networking activities. The selected projects will also compete for the MedPitching Award, a €1,000 prize awarded to the most promising project, to which a further €1,000 will be added if the project becomes an Italian co-production.

– Med WIPs- MedFilm Works in progress, open to fiction feature films and creative documentaries in post-production from Italy and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern countries.
MedWIPs aims to support projects in their final production stages by facilitating encounters with distributors, festival programmers, sales agents, broadcasters and post-production professionals, helping selected works reach international audiences and markets.
The 6 projects selected for MedWIPs compete for the OIM Prize of €10,000, awarded directly to the film to support post-production, promotion and distribution activities, and for the Stadion Video Prize for DCP creation, with a value of €3,500.
